Egypt E-Visas are granted under either a single or multiple entry-basis. And while each of these visa types is valid for different lengths of time (30 days for single entry, 90 days for multiple entries), they each only allow for up to 30 days of a physical presence in the country.
What that means is that under a single-entry visa, you may enter and leave only once within the 30-day window. When you leave, you'll need to apply for a new visa to return.
Under a multiple entry visa, you may enter and leave multiple times within an extended 90-day window with no penalty. However, your total time in the country cannot exceed 30 days.
